Psalm 71:14-16 But as for me, I will always have hope; I will praise you more and more. My mouth will tell of your righteousness,of your salvation all day long, though I know not its measure. I will come and proclaim your mighty acts, O Sovereign Lord; I will proclaim your righteousness, yours alone.

Love these lyrics by Mercy Me.

"... In Christ, there are no goodbye
And in Christ, there is no end
So I'll hold onto Jesus with all that I have
To see you again ..."

"... I close my eyes and I see your face
If home's where my heart is then I'm out of place
Lord, won't you give me strength to make it through somehow
I've never been more homesick than now."

guess I'm just homesick for Jesus ...
Oh for the nations to hear .... that He may come back!!

I, too, ponder that often - why cant we just all go be missionaries so we can see Jesus sooner? If our two options for seeing Jesus are: 1) die, or 2) meet the conditions in Matthew 24:14..........I'd rather the second option; It'd be cool to see "the son of man sitting at the right hand of power, and coming on the clouds of heaven!" (mt 26:64). I mean, sure, it'd be frigtening to see....but to know He took God's wrath for me and that He comes as Lord and Judge! Is it wrong to think, "Hurry up, Jesus!" I want to go home, too!
